Comme des Garcons Atelier Staff Coat Redux

In the 80s, Rei Kawakubo created a series of long black atelier coats for runway staff with the show date and house logo printed in bold white lettering. It has since become an iconic everyday piece for collectors.

This is from 2017, one of the earliest versions of this, before it became a Design Shop staple. Crafted with a soft, silky and drapey cupra, it features a sportier collar and cuffs. It also has two side pockets.
