If there were one garment signature from a Japanese designer you’d recognise instantly, it’s the Issey Miyake pleats.

The pleats have been around since the 90s but it was not cut for masculine bodies until Homme Plissè was launched in 2013. Garments that were designed to be wrinkle-resistant, lightweight and compact, made with freedom of movement.

A rare variation of the classic pleated jacket, in a dark navy and cream chalkstripe, where the stripes look like they’re painted on. The jacket is softly woven with channeled pleats, single breasted with notched lapels, dropped shoulders and a relaxed silhouette. These retail from $1200+
